CMAT Paper Analysis 2023: Paper Pattern & Good Attempts

In order to get a sense of the level of difficulty, applicants appearing in this year’s exam must review the CMAT analysis from the previous year provided here. According to the CMAT analysis of 2022, there were a total of 100 questions throughout 5 sections, and the overall difficulty level was moderate. 

In the CMAT exam, an average score is 270+ scores, and the best score is 305+ scores. Therefore, a score in the range of 275-285 would receive an overall 99 percentile, whereas a score in the range of 295-305 would receive an overall 99.5+ percentile.

CMAT 2023 Exam Analysis: Important Changes Introduced

On Saturday, April 9, the CMAT 2022 exam was completed in just one three-hours session from 3PM to 6 PM. The difficulty level of this exam was moderate. Following are the conclusions obtained from the CMAT 2022 Paper Analysis:

According to the experts’ evaluation, the CMAT 2022 was overall easy to moderately difficult. The compulsory section, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, was first released in 2021 as an optional section.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation

There were a total of 20 questions in this section. The level of difficulty in the CMAT 2022 Quantitative Techniques and DI section was easy. The majority of the questions were from the topic Arithmetic.

The overall level of difficulty for this section was low. There were a total of 20 questions in this section, out of which 15 questions involved Analytical Reasoning, and 5 questions involved Verbal Reasoning.
