The Xavier Aptitude Test, commonly known as XAT, is one of the most sought-after management entrance exams in India. Conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI), XAT is a gateway for admission to some of the top B-schools in India. With the increasing number of candidates appearing for the exam every year, the competition to secure admission to these institutes has become tougher than ever.

XAT Cut off is the minimum score that a candidate needs to achieve to be eligible for the next stage of the selection process. In this article, we will discuss XAT Cut off 2024, its significance, and the factors that influence it. We will also provide tips to help candidates achieve their desired Cut off and secure admission to some of the top B-schools in India.

What is XAT Cut off?

XAT Cut off is the minimum percentile score that a candidate needs to achieve to be eligible for admission into B-schools accepting XAT scores. The Cut off is decided by the respective B-schools based on various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, the reservation policy, and the previous year’s Cut off.

For example, if the Cut off for XLRI Jamshedpur is 95 percentile, it means that a candidate needs to score above 95 percentile to be eligible for admission into XLRI. The Cut off for other B-schools accepting XAT scores may vary depending on the institute’s reputation, academic standards, and selection criteria.

Factors Affecting XAT Cutoff 2024

XAT Cut off is determined by various factors such as:

  • Number of Candidates: XAT Cut off is directly proportional to the number of candidates appearing for the exam. The higher the number of candidates who appeared, the higher the Cut off.
  • Difficulty Level of the Exam: The Cut off also depends on the difficulty level of the exam. If the exam is relatively easy, the Cut off will be higher, and vice versa.
  • Number of Seats Available: The Cut off also depends on the number of seats available in a particular B-school or program. If the number of seats is limited, the Cut off will be higher.
  • Category of the Candidate: The Cut off also varies for different categories of candidates such as General, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD. Candidates belonging to reserved categories usually have a lower Cut off than General category candidates.
  • Previous years Cut off: The Cut off for XAT 2024 may also be influenced by the previous year’s Cut off. If the Cut off for the previous year was high, the Cut off for this year may also be high.

XAT Cut off 2024 for XLRI

The expected XAT Cut off 2024 cannot be predicted accurately, as it is influenced by various factors.
