However, the process of XAT registration can be quite overwhelming for some candidates, leading to common mistakes that can impact their chances of getting selected. Here are some common mistakes to avoid during XAT 2024 registration:

Not Reading the Instructions Carefully

One of the most common mistakes that students make during XAT registration is not reading the instructions carefully. XAT has a detailed set of instructions that candidates need to follow while registering for the exam. These instructions include information on how to fill the application form, the documents required, and the payment process. This can include errors in spelling, incorrect contact information, or incomplete educational details. Such errors can result in rejection of the application or can cause confusion during the selection process.

Uploading Incorrect Photograph or Signature

However, candidates often make mistakes in uploading the photographs or signatures, which can lead to rejection of the application. The photograph should be recent, clear, and without any glare or shadows. The signature should be in black ink on a white background and should not be too small or too large.

Choosing the Wrong Test City

While registering for XAT, candidates need to choose the test city where they want to appear for the exam. It is essential to choose the right test city as it cannot be changed once the application is submitted. Candidates should carefully consider factors such as distance, travel time, and availability of transportation before choosing the test city.

Missing the Deadline for Application Submission

The deadline for XAT 2024 registration will be announced by XLRI, and candidates need to submit their application before the deadline. One of the most common mistakes that candidates make is missing the deadline for application submission. This can lead to rejection of the application or a late fee penalty, which can add to the cost of registration.

In conclusion, candidates should be aware of these common mistakes while registering for XAT 2024 and take necessary precautions to avoid them. By carefully reading the instructions, providing accurate information, uploading correct photographs and signatures, choosing the right test city, and submitting the application before the deadline, candidates can increase their chances of success in the XAT exam.
